Traditional Wear Alterations

A considered fitting,
for a meaningful piece

Traditional garments often carry delicate construction, family history or an important occasion. We assess the piece before recommending work.

01

Fit and proportion

Baju Kurung & Kebaya

We assess the blouse, skirt or paired pieces together, including the seam allowance, lining and any trim that affects the final fit.

02

Structure and line

Cheongsam

A cheongsam is checked through the neckline, side seams, closure and hem so adjustments respect the garment’s construction and pattern placement.

03

Support and movement

Saree Blouse

We review the blouse with the saree where possible, checking fit, lining, sleeve balance and the placement of hooks or other closures.

04

Detail-led assessment

Embroidered & Occasion Wear

Embroidery, beading, fragile fabric and pattern placement can limit what is sensible to alter. We explain the options after assessing the garment.
