Stitch & Steam is a home-based clothing alteration service located in Canberra Estate, Singapore. Our full address will be provided via email once your appointment is confirmed.
Since we are home-based, alterations are by appointment only in accordance with HDB’s Home Office Scheme.

Clothing Alteration Service
Since we are home-based, alterations are strictly by appointment only in accordance with HDB’s Home Office Scheme. Walk-ins are not permitted.

For alterations only: 3 – 7 days
For alteration and Dry Cleaning: 7 – 14 days
We will drop you a message if there are any changes or extension required.
Express service is available for an extra charge, but it depends on what you’re sending in and how packed our schedule is.
If you are altering pants or long skirts, bring the shoes you’ll be wearing with it.
If you’re trying to recreate or modify the look of something you already own, bring that along as well. A little reference goes a long way!
No, you can just inform us that you would like to send the garment for dry-cleaning during your alteration appointment and we will process it for you. You do not need to submit an additional order via our website.
If you stay within our delivery zone, Yes we offer free delivery for selected estates! (Click Here to check for doorstep eligibility)
Once your clothing has been altered, we will deliver it to your doorstep on our delivery day (Thursday). However, if you prefer to collect them earlier, just let us know via whatsapp.
Customers not in our delivery zone – we will inform you once your clothes are ready and we can arrange a day for you to collect them.
Yes of course! Simply book an appointment by clicking here. When your clothes are done, we will inform you and you can swing by to collect it!
Dry Cleaning Service
It takes about 10 days (including collection and delivery days). We will collect your clothes on Tuesday, and send them back to you the next Thursday.

Unfortunately, we currently only offer pickup and delivery service for the highlighted areas in Canberra.
We clean suits, dresses, shirts, coats, blouses, formal wear, delicates, household items like curtains, and more. For the full list, refer to our Menu page.
Yes, we treat most common stains. However, success depends on the stain type and fabric. Please indicate the area of stain by placing a post it / safety pin on the area.
At the moment, our dry-cleaning service is exclusively available to the highlighted areas in Canberra. We’re keeping things nearby for now to manage pickup and delivery efficiently.
